textE – dialogue

"textE" are textile experiments that focus on exploring the interplay between the simultaneous actions of two people as well as materials and movement.

Handle by handle, the process is recorded using stop-motion technology and documented photographically. The approaches to and the different perspectives on a project, the exploration of materials, spaces and rhythms are experimentation and inspiration.
Techniques and materials are analyzed, tested and new ideas are developed. The use of the stop-motion technique is a slow process and leaves a lot of time for dialogues and mind games.
We see our artistic work in dialogue with each other - by making our communication visible, we create image worlds that change continuously and allow associative interpretations through different forms of presentation.
